Create a coupon

Steps

   Go to the Foxy admin.

   Go to Coupons.

   Click the + (New coupon) button.

   Enter a Name. This is visible to customers in the cart, so make it clear (for example, "Spring Sale 15% Off").

   Build the discount under Rules. Open the dropdown at the top right of the Rules section (it shows Custom discount by default) to pick a ready-made example as a starting point, such as "-10% on orders of 5+; -20% on orders of 10+", or choose Custom discount to build your own. Each rule reads: IF [quantity or total] ≥ [tier] THEN [reduce or increase] [target] BY [value] [% percentage or ¤ amount]

   • Choose reduce for a discount. (increase applies a surcharge instead.)

   • Choose the target: order total, price of each item, price of additional items, or price of next item. See Discount syntax reference for what each does.

   • Add more rules to create additional tiers.

   • The Applied discount line beneath the rules previews the result in plain language.

   Save the coupon.

   After saving, add at least one code under Codes. Enter a code and confirm. To create many codes at once, see Generate multiple coupon codes at once.

Notes

• A coupon needs at least one discount rule and at least one code before it can be used.

• Codes can include letters, numbers, and -, _, and ., up to 50 characters. They are case insensitive, so SAVE10 and save10 are the same code.

• Choose readable codes to avoid confusion (0 vs O, 1 vs l vs I).

• Codes, item category restrictions, and attributes can only be added after the coupon is first saved.
