Generate multiple coupon codes at once

How to generate or import many unique coupon codes that share the same discount, for mail merges and single-use campaigns.

Generate a batch of unique codes that all share the same coupon's discount. This is useful for single-use codes, mail merges, or large distributions where each recipient needs their own code.

Create the coupon first (see Create a coupon), then generate or import codes.

Steps

  1. 1

    Go to the Foxy admin and open the coupon under Coupons.

  2. 2

    Use Generate codes to create a batch (up to 100 at a time), or Import codes to bring in your own list.

  3. 3

    To make each code single use, set Uses per code to 1 (see Limit coupon usage and set valid dates).

Notes

  • All generated or imported codes share the coupon's discount rules and restrictions.

  • Codes can only be added after the coupon is first saved.

  • Pair with usage limits to control redemptions per code.
