Restrict a coupon to specific customers
How to limit a Foxy coupon to customers with a matching attribute or an active subscription, and how to auto-apply it at checkout.
Restrict a coupon to specific customers based on a customer attribute or an active subscription, and optionally apply it automatically when they sign in. Set these on the coupon's edit screen under Coupons.
Customer attribute restrictions
Under Customer attribute restrictions, enter a Field and Value. The coupon only applies if the customer has that attribute and value. Wildcards are allowed.
Customer subscription restrictions
Under Customer subscription restrictions, enter one or more product codes. The coupon only applies if the customer has an active subscription containing a matching product code. Wildcards are allowed.
Auto-apply
Turn on Auto apply coupon for matching customers. When the customer authenticates on the checkout, the coupon applies automatically if the two customer restrictions above are met. Notes
Auto-apply works together with the customer attribute and subscription restrictions.
The customer must sign in (authenticate) at checkout for these restrictions to be evaluated.
