Control how coupons combine with other discounts
How to set whether a Foxy coupon can be combined with other coupons, share codes, allow multiple codes, or override category and product discounts.
Use a coupon's Options to control how it interacts with other coupons and with automatic product and category discounts. Set these on the coupon's edit screen under Coupons inside the Foxy Admin.
Options
Allow combining with other coupons: when off, this coupon will not be added if another coupon is already in the cart, and no other coupon can be added once this one is present.
Allow multiple codes on the same order: allow more than one code from this coupon to be added at once.
Enable code sharing between coupons: let a single code belong to multiple coupons, so one entry adds them all. Shared codes show an
[s]note next to the code in the admin. When codes are shared, the "Allow combining" setting is ignored for coupons that share the same code.Don't apply category discounts with this coupon: when this coupon applies, category discounts are removed from the affected items and only the coupon discount remains.
Don't apply line item discounts with this coupon: the same behavior, applied to product-level discounts.
Notes
Coupon discounts are calculated from the product subtotal, and other coupons do not change that base. A $100 order with both a $20 coupon and a 10% coupon totals $70, not $72.
Product, category, and coupon discounts can be combined, but mixing product-specific and category-specific quantity discounts often causes confusion and is best avoided.
