Helcim
Connect Foxy to Helcim for secure payments.
Connect Foxy to Helcim to accept credit and debit card payments. You'll need one credential from your Helcim account: an API token.
Setting up Helcim
1Log in to your Helcim account, or your Helcim developer test account
2Click All Tools in the top-left corner
3Select Integrations under Merchant Tools
4Make sure you're on the API Access Configurations page
6Enter a name for the configuration, such as "Foxy.io"
7Do not check the "I will use this token for a checkout integration" checkbox. That option is for HelcimPay.js, which Foxy doesn't use
8Under Access Restrictions, set Transaction Processing to Admin. General and Settings can be left as Read
9Click Create in the top right to save the configuration and generate your token
10In the API Access Information section, copy the Token value. This is the only value you need for Foxy
11Go to the Foxy admin and go to Settings > Payments
12Open or create a payment method set, then click Add payment method + and choose Helcim
14Optionally set Card verification to verify a card is valid without charging it. We generally recommend Enabled, automatically
15Enter your Terminal ID from Helcim if needed
16Save your payment settings
Important: request full card numbers for your Helcim account
Before you can take payments, contact Helcim support and request that your account be enabled for using full card numbers with their API. Helcim will reach out to us to confirm you're a Foxy.io user before enabling it. They may also ask you for PCI compliance documentation, though Foxy handles the card data processing itself.
Testing
Contact Helcim for test account details and test card numbers.
Troubleshooting & interpreting response codes
