Troubleshoot a missing email receipt
What to check if a customer or store didn't receive an expected email receipt.
If an email receipt wasn’t received, work through these checks before contacting support.
Steps
1Check the spam folder. Foxy has high deliverability rates and sends only from clean IP addresses, but it can still happen.
2Confirm the customer’s email receipt isn’t going to the same place as the store’s BCC copy — if both land in the same inbox, mail servers will often discard the duplicate as a repeat, so only one copy shows up. See Add additional recipients to email receipts for how BCC is configured.
3Confirm the email address actually exists and can accept mail. It’s common to find the address doesn’t exist or its mail server isn’t set up.
4If the issue isn’t resolved, contact support, including the exact email address that isn’t receiving emails.
