Add additional recipients to email receipts
How to send copies of email receipts to the store, additional addresses, or specific product categories.
By default, only the customer receives an email receipt. You can add the store, additional addresses, and category-specific recipients.
Steps
BCC the store
This sends the store a straight BCC copy of the customer’s email receipt — it looks identical to what the customer receives. If you’re testing with an address that goes to the same place as the store’s email, mail servers will often discard the duplicate, so you may only see one copy.
Add other store addresses
Add category-specific recipients
An additional customer email is useful when a category needs extra information sent to the customer, like conference registration details or pickup instructions. An additional admin email is useful when sales in a category need to notify a specific department.
Notes
Category-specific recipients are configured per category, not store-wide.
