Add custom fields per shipping address
How to collect custom information, like a gift message, for each shipping address in a multi-ship checkout.
With multi-ship enabled, you can collect custom fields for each shipping address at checkout, in addition to the standard address fields. This works like regular custom checkout fields, but the fields repeat per destination so each address can have its own values (for example, a separate gift message for each recipient). For the standard, non per address custom fields, see Passing Custom Fields to Shipping.
How to add them
Add your custom field markup to the appropriate shipping address section of the checkout template in your store's template configuration. Foxy repeats the fields for each destination and collects the values per address automatically.
Notes
These fields are tied to each shipping address, so their values are captured separately for every destination in the order.
